Is Mijn Schatje (Marie Blanco Hendrickx) An Art Thief?
This makes me furious to no end. I have friends and loved ones who are serious artists, and plagiarism is *never* acceptable. Please, keep the pressure on this issue so that it doesn't slip into the background! This isn't just more "doll drama" and it really shouldn't be passed over as such.

I have no idea where Jared's Elfdoll is.
The tracking number does not yield ANY information whatsoever (it's not in the system or anything), and there is nothing on Elfdoll about the shipping of orders being delayed due to any holidays. I have written them very politely asking them "do you know what's going on?" and I hope that this can get straightened out.
I am going to annihilate Maisy. Apparently, when folks left for school this morning, Dad and Michael had jackets sitting near her crate. She managed to pull the end of Dad's coat into the crate and chew up the end, and she managed to get Michael's still-fairly-nice fleece jacket/removable coat lining into the crate and SHREDDED it. It is beyond saving, even as scraps for other stuff. I am very mad, obviously, because it was still really nice, and even though Michael is on the verge of outgrowing it, I was hoping to at least use it as a hand-me-down somewhere along the line. She's going to stay in the kennel for the rest of the day, because she really has been out of hand lately, and I can't deal with her by myself and still manage Michael and Sadie.
Pherret got back to Virginia Beach safe and sound. I miss him, and I wish I had gone back with him instead of staying here. But Mom asked, and here I am.
I really hope things turn around today. This is not the way to start the week. |

What entertains me is that he is noticably taller than a MNF. He looks kind of skinny and awkward, and it's so cute! X3

*Please* ship my stuff already. ;3; I'd like it all here before Pherret goes home, because I want to go to, and I can't if I'm still waiting on the orders. @3@
Sorry to sound whiny, I'm just a little frantic for them to send my orders out. At least I haven't ordered anything time-consuming like face-ups, and it really isn't like I ordered from Luts or Volks...Dollmore generally isn't as high-traffic, and I don't know about the other company.
Poor Michael has a cold. It makes me sad when people I care about don't feel well, because I know there is blessed little I can actually do about it. |

I itch so much! ;3; It's not dry skin...waaah...it feels like an allergic reaction or something. o_O
Sighvatr _is_ on his way home. I'm trying to get some clothes ready for him, and for mini-Christian.
I'm very happy with the stuff I've made lately. I keep this up, and I might have to start selling it. XD I've made the greatest mini-sized PJs ever. :3 Might have to get someone to take some cute pictures for me.
I finally finished putting up my Christmas tree. o_o It's taken me too long to actually decorate it and stuff. Now I have to do the rest of the stuff for Christmas, like buying and wrapping gifts and doing my Christmas cards. Maybe it will actually get me in the Christmas spirit. I'm getting cranky about holiday cheer being crammed up my butt, and that's not like me at all. I'm not one of those Christmas sweater/ Santa hat-wearing people or anything like that, but I generally like the winter holidays.
Pherret's going to the doctor on the 27. I'm very, very worried. I hope he's okay.
Okay, enough rambling...I have stuff to get done. |

My Paypal payment FINALLY cleared. Siggy shall be home soon! X3 Pherret is wanting something specific for the little guy's faceup, and is wanting to do several tattoos, so I shall have a lovely time of faceupping and prepping him when he gets here. (watch the weather go to hell!)
I also got the go-ahead to get U-Jee for my Christmas present!!!! :D He won't have his proper wig until after New Year's, but I'll make something work...maybe whip him up a fur one, or something. I'll be picking up a guitar for him on Friday. That and some fur for wig-making...the girl that Pherret is buying Siggy from is including some wigs, but there's no way of knowing a)that anything she sends will be Siggy's hair, or b)exactly what he's going to want for his day-to-day hair style. Blond, almost certainly.
The command Christmas party is Thursday. They are providing childcare for free (yay, I get to be at a party with the grownups!) and then Pherret shall have Friday off, since a full 90% of the command will have hangovers, and the first leave period begins on Friday. I'm totally hoping that we win something nice at the party's raffle, but I'd love the $2,500 Visa giftcard (well, who wouldn't?!) @3@ Pherret says they also might be giving away an XBox 360, and I would also be okay with this (in a way, even more satisfied...because I am a geek!). Last time I went to a command party, we ended up with TGI Friday's gift certificates. =_= Better than a poke in the eye, but I'm not a big Friday's person. Of course, at that party, I'm pretty sure they had it rigged for the pilots to get the better stuff, but that was also at his old command. Now he doesn't have to deal with the pilots because they don't have any at his new command. >:D (Nothing at all against pilots per se, but Pherret's last command placed WAY too much importance on the fly boys.) I'm very nervous about going to the party. I get anxious around new people, crowds, and loud noises, so I'm screwed. I don't know anyone at this command, so...I see myself standing on the fringes while Pherret socializes. (I *might* sneak to the kiddie room if they're watching a cool movie. XD)
I miss my camera. @3@

Did some sewing today...I'm making stuff for Michael's not-coming-for-Christmas Ken, and for Pherret's MNF Shiwoo (hurry up, Paypal), and some stuff for Zoe. I'm THRILLED because I finally got some shoes for Kit. Apparently, Luts' girl shoes (at least certain styles) actually fit him pretty well. :D Now, to make him some clothes. X3 I got some very cute t-shirt type material at Joann's today on clearance, so yay for that!
Both my parents are all thrilled because their colleges are in their respective championship games in football. Appalachian State for my mum (she got her teaching degree from there), and Mount Union for Dad. My brother and Dad are going to try to get to the Mount Union game next weekend, since it isn't that far from the farm in East Tennessee, and Dad's birthday is that weekend too.
I'm too shy to tell Pherret that I wouldn't mind getting U-Jee for Christmas. ^^;
I'm still feeling all weird and hyper. I've been having a lot of trouble with my stutter because of it. I'm having a lot of trouble paying attention, and it's making me even more anxious. I seriously do not want to go home after Christmas.
I think, when I do get Jared's Christmas present arranged, I'm going to have them ship it straight to him, especially if it looks like they won't get it here before we leave. |

I'm really hyper this morning, and I'm not sure why. I want to do about five different things at once, and I can't settle down enough to do any of them. I need to decorate my little Christmas tree, I want to sew, I want to knit some stuff, I want to make another doll-sized scrapbook, I want to make some wee fairy dolls...I can't focus enough to do any of it. XP
It is chilly this morning. When I took Sadie out, it was about 29 degrees (That's below zero for all of you using a Celsius thermometer), and she decided to take her time about it. =_= Worse yet, we have a great big sliding glass door in the living room, right by my computer desk. Brrr!
It's even colder in Nashville though. Jared said it was about 12 degrees this morning. That kind of cold isn't any fun at all.

All you people who have such lovely minis, I hold you to blame. I especially hold Pherret and rorekgwolfe to blame, because I get to play with their minis all the time.
I really think I want a mini boy. I love my big guys soooooooooo much (as evidenced by my dragging the whole bloddy crew with me every time I go away for more than a day or so) and I would never trade them for anything, but I think I just want one little mini boy, to carry around all the time, and sit on my desk and to play with the other minis.
Dammit. This little guy.
I want a nice little Dollmore U-Jee. I'd make him my chibi-Christian, I think. (He doesn't look at all like SD13 Link, but that's a hard one to match. ^_~) He has a rather sweet face, and cute little teeth! ^o^ I know that most people are really polarized about teeth on dolls, they either love them or hate them, but I honestly don't care either way. U-Jee would make a good chibi-Christian, IMO, mainly because I have the same tendency to have my mouth partially opened most of the time. ^^; He'd be nice to keep me company while I wait for Christian...just a fun little guy to play with.

Yes, yes. It is official. PherretLord is getting himself a MNF Shiwoo on the secondary market. Hopefully the seller won't flake out or stuff like that, but yay! I get to redo the faceup when the little guy gets here, and build his wardrobe. I'm so happy that MNFs can wear those Teen Trend motorcycle-ish boots, because that means I'm not pressed to find some adequate sh*t-kickers online for the moment. I can devote myself to some wardrobe building and the like for him. :D
I'm orf to do some Christmas shopping today, I think. I have to go to the bank, and since it is in the mall parking lot essentially, I may as well get some of it out of the way. =_= Beats fighting the crowd on the weekends, and I'll probably take the bus home, just because I can.
Now...to get a hold of a BW Yder head. Damn you, Luts! Restock it already! D: |

I will never come home for a visit during the school year. The reason I came home got totally derailed, for starters, and it has been downhill from there.
Everyone is so busy, and it is chaos all evening, from about 4 in the afternoon until 7 or 8 at night. It makes Michael crazy, it makes me crazy, and things go badly.
Worse yet, even as a non-driver, I have ways of getting around Virginia Beach, and so I don't have to be stuck at home all day long. I can come and go as I please. Out here, it's the boonies, so there's no way for me to get around on my own. I think I've left the house (not counting trips to the store) three times in the past two weeks. I hate that so much.
I've gotten nothing done sewing-wise. That pisses me off royally, because I wanted to get some things started and finished, and I haven't been able to do it. I won't have a chance this weekend either, until I get home.
I'm not looking forward to a weekend with my parents. My Mom is okay, but my dad...=_= He's hard to deal with under the best of circumstances, and these are going to be a bit trying for him. I'm going to be helping my mom as best I can, but it won't be much fun.
Anyway, I'll be offline until Sunday evening, probably tearing my hair out. |
